The Red Cloud

This book aims to raise awareness on the issue of period poverty and stigma, increase accessibility of information, encourage conversation and empower readers through content such as reflective exercises, crowd-sourced stories, interviews and more.

From your big sisters,

We have made this book to help you through the intricate and wonderful details of menstruation. We have done our research and consulted experts. We also asked our friends around the world to send in their menstruation-related experiences to help you understand things that will happen before, during and after puberty. You can read them at the end of each chapter. This IS for you to know that you're not alone in this!

It is important to be kind and supportive to people around us because we may all experience problems and inconveniences related to menstruation at some point in our lives. We hope that this book will help you develop a positive attitude towards this essential part of your life and be kind to all of your friends.

The Interactive Period Cloud

Workshop: Tracking Period Period Bracelet

The Ricebox Studio

We are a design practice using creative technology and visual communication for social good. We view each project as a creative seed which we plant in people’s minds to encourage conversations and actions to tackle social issues.

Our mission is to co-explore alongside the wider community how design and creative tech can be better used as a tool to realise our vision of positively changing the world, one grain of rice at a time!

We work across a variety of themes and love all things interactive and tech, but we only work on projects or with clients who aim to make the world a better place to improve people’s lives.
